\nThe National Archaeological Museum of Metapontum displays the main artifacts found in the territory of ancient Metapontum, as well as those from the nearby areas of Pisticci and the archaeological area of Incoronata. <\/p>\n

We will begin our visit to the Museum, where we will explore the four main sections: <\/p>\n

  4. Roman Age<\/strong>: We will conclude with artifacts from the Roman era, marking the last phase of the colony’s development.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Archaeological Park of Metapontum<\/h3>\n

    After exploring the museum, we will move on to the Metapontum Archaeological Park, which includes: <\/p>\n

    1. Urban Sanctuary<\/strong>: We will visit the remains of the sanctuary, a central place of worship for the inhabitants of ancient Metapontum.<\/li>\n
    2. Agora<\/strong>: We will walk through the agora, the heart of public and political life in the colony.<\/li>\n
    3. Craft Quarter<\/strong>: We will admire the traces of the craft quarter, where many of the artifacts we saw in the museum were produced.<\/li>\n
